So who's going to take out the garbage? Fold the clothes? Or make dinner? Have fun guessing how the Newlyweds will divvy up the chores. Great fun for a couples shower.

How to Play

Time:   8 minutes
Players:   unlimited
Winners:   1

  • Give each guest a game sheet.
  • For each chore listed, guests decide with an X whether the Bride or Groom will be taking on that chore.
  • The Bride does the same with the answer key.

This game lists different chores the new couple will need to divvy up once they are married. Guests place an X by either the Bride or Groom, depending on whom they think the Bride will say is responsible for that chore. At the same time, the Bride is doing the same with the "Answer Key". When all guests have completed the game, have the Bride read off her answers as guests score their own game sheet. Each correct answer is worth one point. The guest with the most correct answers wins. If there is a tie, draw names to find a winner.


Variations

Couples Shower
Have the Bride & Groom each fill out their own Answer Key. The men will score only when they match the Groom's answers, and the women will score only when they match the Bride's answers. For a really laughable twist - have the women match the Groom's answers and the men match the Bride's answers. Two prizes required for this variation.

    This game was a riot. Instead of going through the entire list, I just "cut to the chase" and said what the groom claims HE does (I interviewed him first)... Of course he chose everything but 2, so it made a big joke the rest of the day with "HOW MUCH HE DOES AROUND THE HOUSE!" I recommend it :) Everybody thought it was the most organized shower, ever!

    We played the game with the guys against the girls, and the girls won. Bride and groom both already had it down as to who would do what pretty much. The only thing that I found wrong with this game was that the lines did not line up with the words and the last four or five did not even have a line to mark. The game itself was fun and I would highly recommend it for a couples shower
