Turns out, baby names are everywhere. In the garden (Rose). In the woods (Hunter). Even in the weather (Sunny). Give your guests the fun of coming up with names to match familiar words.

How to Play

Time:   5-7 minutes
Players:   unlimited
Winners:   1

  • Give each guest a game sheet.
  • Guests race to identify as many names as possible in the time allowed.

Guests match girl's names and boy's names to the definition of an everyday item. When all guests have completed the game, read the answers as guests score their own game sheet. Each correct answer is worth one point. The guest with the most correct answers wins. If there is a tie, draw names to find a winner.

Variations

Fast Pace
Set a timer for 3 minutes and have guests stop when the time is up. The guest with the most correct answers is the winner.

Couples Shower Teams
Split the men and women into two groups. Women only fill in the answers for the boy's names (right column of game sheet) - and the men only fill in the answers for the girl's names (left column of game sheet). You'll need two prizes for this variation of the game.

    Purchased this game for our Bunco group - one of the girls was expecting and we threw her a surprise shower. We had a ball playing this game - especially when we had to reveil the answers. Some of the answers people came up with were really funny. I would recommend this game to everyone! Thanks for the great website.

    I think the highest score was 68 on the game!! lots of people were stumped...when i read the answers there were lots of whats and huh??!! glad i bought it!!

    I looked thru your game choices to find a challenging one and this game was a good choice. We had alot of laughs at some of the answers that were given to the questions. Some of them were obvious ( or so we thought they would be!)and some were harder. We had such a big shower that I was worried if the games were too easy we would have too many winners for the amount of prizes that we had. It worked out very well and all of the girls had a really great time and the interaction with this game added to the fun! I will keep your site in mind for any future showers and will of course recommend it to anyone that is holding one. I can't thank you enough for your imagination and making this site so easy to use, not to mention the cost was minimal! Keep up the great work!

    Most of the guests had not seen a game like yours before, and really, really enjoyed playing it at the shower. In fact some asked if they could keep their copy. And I gave them information of where to purchase the game if they know someone that would like to use your game at their next baby shower. I would use your games again for other activities.     Some of these are pretty easy and some a little more difficult. We played this game with 3 groups of 4. It worked pretty well and people don't feel so bad if they don't know an answer because you have others in your group to fall back on. I gave a prize to the group that one. In case of a tie breaker, pick another 'group' game (Suggestion: Guess how big mommy is using a ribbon. Whoever gets the closest wins).
