What's Included
How to Play
Time: 6-8 minutes
Players: unlimited
Winners: 1
Guests fill in the blank after each word to finish the phrase. At the same time, the Guest of Honor does the same with the Answer Key. When all the guests have completed their game sheets, the Guest of Honor reads his/her answers out loud. Each correct answer is worth one point, but the answer will only be correct if it's the same as the Guest of Honor's. The guest with the most correct answers wins. If there is a tie, draw names to find the winner.
Variations
Dual Play
Split the men and women into two teams. Each team chooses one person to mark their own keys separately and be the "Answer Key" for their team. Answers will only be correct if they match their team's Answer Key. You’ll need two prizes for this variation.

We used Over the Hill Finish my Phrase and the guests thought it was a lot of fun. Everyone was laughing at the different answers and the way people would think of such different things when seeing a word. The game I ordered from your website really was a highlight. We felt it provided a good ice breaker after dinner to transition into a new phase of the surprise birthday party. It was easy, simple, and appropriate for a large group. It provided lots of laughs! Plus the youngest there (4yrs old) tried to fill in answers as well as the oldest who had Alzheimer's! Pretty good when you can get that many variety of people to take part!

I was glad to find your site from a friend that suggested I look there. I would definitely use it again if looking for another party game or pass it on to others.

The party was Jan. 3rd 2008, It was for our Mother's 80th B-day. Over half of the people were within 20 years of her age, and it was a success, I (as Usual) was the MC and the games were alot of fun. people of all ages played even though they were not familier with the era. All enjoyed.

The Party was for a dual 60th Birthday, husband and wife. I had the women play for the wife and men played for the men. It was a fun game.

Sorry we did not have time to use the game at our "Oktoberfest". It didn't really fit in with what we were doing. I was specifically looking for games to play at Oktoberfest with a large group of people, but didn't come up with anything suitable. Ages were 50 to 75.
